Biography
Tamara Mladenovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia.
After her early adolescent education, she enrolled in “Tehnoart” Grammar School of Arts & Crafts in Belgrade, Serbia, Department for jeweler of art objects. In 2008, she enrolled in the University of Fine Arts in Belgrade as a painting major. In 2012 she finishes master studies and took a professional title of Master of Fine Arts -Painter. At 2014-2015 as a scholarship holder of the Indonesian government she studied in University of Arts, ISI Padang Panjang Sumatra, Indonesia, Department of Traditional Indonesian Dance. In 2021 she had one more opportunity to take the scholarship of the Indonesian government and she graduated Bsbi Virtual Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship, Bali, Indonesia.
Somewhere in the midst of her academic studies, Tamara's interest in the art and paintings of Asia began to flourish. She found herself particularly drawn to Indonesian art and culture, captivated by its music, costumes, dance, and Batik techniques. These elements have significantly influenced and enriched her artistic style. As a painter, she has showcased her work in numerous exhibitions both in Serbia and internationally.
In her modest career, she is particularly proud of the creation of the silver medallion "Terpsichore," crafted for the National Theater in Belgrade. This medallion, awarded annually to the best ballet artist in Serbia. Among the winners of this prestigious award are renowned ballet artists such as Ana Pavlović, Jovan Veselinović, Konstantin Kostyukov, Milan Rus, Igor Pastor, and Angelos Jan Fabre, among others. She is also proud to have her jewellery included in the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade.
Since 2016 in collaborating with the Embassy of The Republic of Indonesia in Athens where she is teaching Indonesian traditional dance.
Since 2017 Member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts. Since 2025, member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia.
